  2. E1M1 solo, deathmatch, cooperative.

  4. This WAD is based on the biological sciences 2
  5. building at the Univ of California, Irvine (UCI).
  6.  
  7. This WAD is a deathmatch dream come true.  We killed
  8. each other for hours and hours running around the 
  9. very building we work in daily.  The admin people 
  10. promptly deleted DOOM from the network and now we 
  11. are very sad.  
  12.  
  13. With the exception of the monsters and the secret rooms,
  14. this map is a valid representation of the 1st floor
  15. of the BIOSCI 2 building (a building which really uses 
  16. key card locks to restrict access to the building and 
  17. interior rooms).
  18.  
  19. This was my very first WAD file and I created more 
  20. problems than I resolved, but be generous, I actually
  21. exceeded the sector limit and the item limit before I
  22. had to scale down the map.  
  23.  
  24. In solo mode, I recommend that you challenge yourself by 
  25. killing all the monsters without using any of the 
  26. weapons or ammo from outside the building (in the secret
  27. danger rooms).  
  28.  
  29. Also, be advised, there are two or three completely secret 
  30. buttons (unmarked walls) that open the windows, the doors, 
  31. raise a platform, and close the doors.  I added these so 
  32. that I could cheat during cooperative mode games that 
  33. always seemed to turn into deathmatch games.  They are 
  34. worth finding, especially the open windows button.
